Tigers is not a watered-down adult class. It is its own thing. Short blocks, clear cues, big wins. Your child learns to wait their turn, follow a two-step instruction, and try the thing that did not work the first time. The skills sound small. They are everything.
Ages 4–5
Parents tell us the same story. A few weeks in, their preschooler starts putting away shoes without being asked. Then waiting longer at the dinner table. Then saying "yes sir" without thinking. Tigers is the engine for that. Each class drills the basics of being a person on purpose, in the same way it drills a kick.
Kids practice paying attention the same way they practice a kick. By kindergarten, the teacher will notice.
Balance on one foot. Hop over a line. Catch and throw. The motor skills that look like play and turn into coordination.
We teach them what it feels like to slow down before they speak or swing. That muscle starts here and never gets weaker.
Thirty real minutes of movement, then home. Tired in the good way, not the meltdown way. Their nap will thank you.
Color cues, named games, mats marked with shapes. The class meets their brain where it lives, then nudges it forward.
The hops are working balance. The freeze games are working impulse control. The bow is working memory. Everything is on purpose.
Tigers is run by instructors who chose this age group and kept choosing it. They speak the language. They love the chaos.
"Three months in and our daughter is a different kid at the dinner table. She listens the first time we ask. The instructors here are remarkable with the little ones."Wayne, NJ Parent · Tigers Program
